NetInfo for Linux

NetInfo for Linux is a port of an early version of Apple's NetInfo directory service to Linux. It includes a nss_netinfo module for integration with the GNU C Library. This product has been "end-of-lined" by PADL: we no longer offer commercial support for it. Customers are advised to use the NetInfo/LDAP bridge in Mac OS X 10.2 for integration with other UNIX clients.

We will consider resurrecting this port, or porting to another platform, if a business case is made. Please see our open source porting policy for more information.
