New Open Source Software from PADL

PADL has announced the release of the following four open source projects.

nss_updatedb

The nss_updatedb utility maintains a local cache of network directory user and group information. Used in conjunction with the pam_ccreds module below, it provides a mechanism for disconnected use of network directories.

pam_ccreds

The pam_ccreds module provides the means for Linux workstations to locally authenticate using an enterprise identity when the network is unavailable. Used in conjunction with the  nss_updatedb utility, it provides a mechanism for disconnected use of network directories.

XMLRPCObjC

XMLRPCObjC provides a bridge between the Objective-C programming language and the XML-RPC protocol. Developed by PADL in 2001, we are releasing this formerly closed source product under the terms of the GNU Lesser General Public License. PADL technical support incidents are not applicable to this project.
